I want to expose some fuckery that’s going on in the online business and digital marketing space that’s going on out there about false information on how to start an online business.
I’ve seen so many conversations with women coaches who are spending much time creating low-ticket offers and uploading them to websites, only to barely make money for their offers. Many of you are being sold a pipe dream about making passive income online. That is wrong information that people are putting out there, even from significant players in the digital marketing space.
Today, we’re going to be breaking down numbers and talk about using business common sense and business strategy. You’ll learn the truth of making passive income online and what it takes to start and run an online business, and what you need to put in place to scale your online business.
I always share the good, the bad, and the ugly with you guys – and you love the transparency. Some of the best feedback that I get is people being appreciative of how open and transparent I have been on this journey.
Why Transparency Counts When Making Passive Income Online
There are important reasons for my transparency. Number one, I want you to know what you’re getting yourself into with your online business. Number two, there’s so much bullshit online as scammers are out here trying to snatch your money without adequately explaining how much work it takes to construct and run an online business.
Every week I hear conversations from countless women, business owners, specifically coaches, and course creators who tell me that there are tens of thousands of dollars in debt and hire all these freaking business coaches, and nobody taught them how to sell.
Low Ticket Offers for Creating Passive Income Online
This is the very worst place to start. Business owners are being told lousy advice that it’s easier to sell low ticket offers when in reality, it’s easier to sell high ticket offers.
The main element to making high ticket dollar items a success is using paid marketing campaigns online, which many coaches won’t tell you. They don’t talk about the fact that they are spending tens of thousands of dollars on advertising. The line that they like to say is, all you need to do is spend $20 a day on Facebook ads, and you’ll make money. The truth is, you’ll need to spend significant marketing dollars on paid advertising to make passive income.
Other coaches also never talk about the fact that they’ve had a massive audience to market to and sell most of the time. If you’re already starting with a large following, making six figures in one year is way easier.
Using Facebook Ads to Market Your Passive Income Business Online
Let me tell you what it takes from Facebook ads from my experience of running ads. You need to start with at least a thousand dollars within a few days to get the data you need to start optimizing your ads.
Most recently, I spent about. $1,400 in a week to get the data that I needed to optimize. On the other end, when I was learning Facebook ads for myself for the first time, I spent five or $6,000 to get the data for one campaign over a couple of months. Spending money on ads to engineer the traffic to make sure that their small-ticket offers get in front of the right people to make a profit is essential.

How to Sell High Ticket Offers
High ticket offers are already easier to sell as the $5,000 to $10,000 clients dream of working within your business. If you’re selling stuff for low ticket offers, those are usually the clients that act like problem children. I’m just saying a lot of you will DM me, and you’ll be like, okay, well, I want to make $10,000 a month.
If you want to make $10,000 a month, it’s a lot easier to sell something for $5,000 twice than it will be to sell something to 20 people at $500 in the same time frame. The number of people you convert into clients versus the number of people you have to speak to to get those clients average close rates is 20 to 30%. So let’s say your close rate is 25%. Let’s keep this fundamentally essential.
Your close rate could be higher. If I’m on fire, I’ll be at an 80% close rate. So your close rate can be a hell of a lot higher than that, but let’s say we’re talking just basic numbers, and your close rate is 25%. That means that if you’re selling something for $500 and trying to make $10,000 in a month, you would need to talk to like a hundred people or almost a hundred people to get your 20 people out of the $500 package.
Quite frankly, ain’t nobody got time for that.
Essentially all this comes down to a fundamental math problem.
When I see clients and others complaining about your business not making enough money, I usually find out it’s because you haven’t done the math to make it work. You end up in business models that are not fruitful for what you’re trying to accomplish.
