Have you ever heard the term faith without works is dead? Well, if you have, that’s exactly what I’m covering right now. I’ve talked on the podcast before about how there are levels to this money stuff. And the first level is basically financial solvency and getting that figured out first, and then going into the emotional stuff. And now let’s start talking more career, let’s start talking more business because that is a part of your financial life. You can’t just manage your money to death, you also actually have to increase your income.
So here’s the issue. I see a lot of people who are meditating their way into abundance, they are manifesting all that money, and they are not working, okay? When you ask them, “Hey, how’s the business going?” They’re still not making money. When you ask them, “Hey, how’s the financial stuff going?” They’re still broke. And then you kind of wonder, “Well, what are you doing all day,”?
Faith Without Works Is Dead
And oftentimes, especially in my coaching sessions, I’ll find out that they’re not really doing anything all day. Or, which is probably a more accurate depiction, they’re not doing the right things that actually lead to money in the bank. So, today, what I want to talk about is the idea that faith without works is dead. It’s true. If you pray all day, but don’t put in the work, you’re not going to get anywhere. Faith without works is dead.
And basically what that means is while you’re praying, move your feet. You can’t be constantly manifesting and praying without putting in the work. You’re not making the call, you’re not sending the email, you’re not investing, you’re not having the conversations, you’re not posting on social media, you’re not doing the things that actually lead to money in the bank. It’s more about acting in faith, rather than just praying, or manifesting, or meditating your way into more money, all of which I do.
How I Manifest & Do The Work
I meditate daily, I visualize, I get clear on what I want, and my vision, but then I actually have to get up every day and work. So, earlier today, I was recording and I had a meeting with my assistant, and we were touching base because she was just in Nicaragua. And one of the things we were talking about was how we’ve gotten really organized in the last six months or so. We’re basically just doing the same things every day. We just have to consistently show up and do the same things every day. In Xenia’s case it’s administrative stuff and some marketing stuff. And then in my case, it’s more creating the content and sales. And that’s it, that’s all we have to do.
Everything else is either already automated or it’s organized. And part of what’s going on with you guys is you don’t know what it is you actually need to be doing aside from the visualizing and the meditating and the praying, and you’re just like, “Oh, God, please send me this money” but then you’re not taking the action steps that you’re being told to take, or maybe you just don’t know what action steps you need to take.
You Need To Do Both
So, visualize, be very clear on what it is that you want, have faith in what it is that you’re doing, trust that things are gonna work out, but take action at the same time. It could look like emailing that person to be on their podcast, it could be texting this person and then maybe they’re your next client, it could be sending out a bunch of pitches.
I actually have a client right now who’s in this exact same situation, where she’s acting on faith, she’s doing some things that really scare her right now. And she’s building her brand and she’s building her clientele as a speaker, and someone who creates workshops at universities and companies and things like that. But she’s doing it. Because faith without works is dead.
Have you found that you’re like meditating, praying, visualizing, and nothing’s happening? Are you just confused in terms of which actions you need to take? Let me know.
