Day (2)

It’s December. That means the New Year is upon us, holidays are in full swing and people are looking for the best 2016 planners. That’s right ya’ll – it’s planner season!

I’m not going to lie. I love planners. I’m a full blown planner nerd. Even though I run a business from my laptop and even though I use online tools to stay productive, there is just something amazing about holding a physical planner in my hand.

This free guide details the 8 step process I used to build a network of referral partners that have sent me up to 300 leads in a day.

Physically writing stuff down and being able to actually see my plans helps solidify them in my mind. Call me old school, but there’s nothing like it.

I’ve tried quite a few planners at this point – from Erin Condren’s Life Planner to Productive Flourishing Planners. They all have their merit and I try to find planner reviews before purchasing.

However, when I was looking for the best 2016 planners, there was one planner comparison I couldn’t find anywhere. There were plenty of Day Designer vs. Simplified Planners or Kikki K’s vs. Filofax, but I could not for the life of me find a planner review comparing Danielle LaPorte’s Desire Map Planner with The Day Designer by Whitney English.

These were the two planners I had my eye on. I love Danielle LaPorte’s style and I’ve done The Desire Map process a few times. I also loved the concept and design behind The Day Designer. I was having a hard time choosing between the two and I thought it was strange that no one had done a comparison.

Fortunately for you, I’ve tried them both out and tell you everything you need to know. Below you’ll find the video comparing The Desire Map with The Day Designer.

Conclusion:

These are both fantastic planners for helping you develop and execute your goals. While I’m going to be using The Day Designer for 2016, I’m definitely implementing pages and concepts from The Desire Map into my flagship Day Designer.
